I don't have a ton of passions beyond trying to be sucessful, but I really really enjoy nature and animals. ALL animals! Even Bugs! Don't judge... I will still squish a spider once in awhile. My love for animals and nature happened as I grew up on a hobby farm. My mom and I had every animal you could think of and then some. Every single animal we brought home got a name as well- even when we had nearly 30 chickens at once. We also had a lot of land for little me to explore, build forts in, and climb trees. It was the greatest time of my life living at the farm and I'm forever greatful I got to experience that.
Throughout my life I have faced many difficult circumstances- circumstances because I couldn't help that they happened to me.
I wasn't very good at healing from these situations and I escaped my reality by being under the influence of marijuana or alcohol.
This became a habbitual thing in my life whenever I was unhappy, someone bothered me at school, or if my mother told me
that I couldn't do what I had asked. It followed me as I got into college, and as I faced the real world I'd use alcohol to
calm down after a stressful day. I realized I had a problem when I'd cry about the unfourtunate cicumstances that happened to me years prior.
I knew I had to start dealing with the unresolved feelings sober and stop drinking during the week.
Me joining the military saved my life from becoming meaningless and me from
becoming worthless. Today I still struggle with alcoholism sometime when I have a rough day or am overwhelmed, but I'm working on it.
Obviously I can't do the marijuana anymore, but I don't mind. Right now I only drink on special occasions and make sure to limit myself because I don't want
to be that person crying at the bar or getting mad for no reason. My evolution story is in the making right now and I'm determind to make it a successful one.
